Each month we select one question from a listener on the topics of building resilience, mindset, mental health, mental performance, managing stress and anxiety and similar topics. Then, to answer those questions, we seek out experts in the fields of psychology, education, athletics, entertainment, etc. - individuals with vast knowledge in these areas or who have experienced the same challenges, at the highest levels, and succeeded (AND some resilient kids themselves too).

Tom Klisiewicz

As Founder and President of Smart Health Wellness and Performance, Tom is dedicated to teaching youth and teens practices that build their resilience, strengthen their mental health and help them achieve success in all aspects of their lives. He has been an educator for over 25 years and is a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD). Tom has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, is a guest faculty member at Harvard Medical School, and is a certified instructor of the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Benson-Henry Institute's Resilient Youth program. Tom has been married for over 25 years and has three children.

Jeannie Klisiewicz

Jeannie is a 4 time Emmy award winner for work as a producer and correspondent on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Jeannie is currently the creator and host of the preschool programing YouTube Channel, Happy You’re Here. She is an aunt to six kids and is the favorite child in the family.
