Proper Breathing Brings Better Health

I want to share this article about breathing from Scientific American with you this week. It is especially good for those of you who want to know the scientific details of what happens to the body when practicing breathing techniques while meditating. There are also several studies referenced that discuss the positive results of using these techniques.

The article reinforces the benefits that conscious breathing can have when you are faced with a stressful situation, can’t fall asleep, battling chronic anxiety, etc., etc.
