The image shown here is a very famous optical illusion. What do you see when you look at it? Some people see an old woman, others see a young woman. Many people when they first look at it see one of the women and find it impossible to see the other one.
Let me help you:
Once you see both it is easy to move back and forth between the two.
This image demonstrates the importance of visualization. We get in life what we are looking for. If we are constantly looking for the negative and things to complain about in life, that is what we will see. Instead, if we are consistently looking for the positive and things to be thankful for, that is what we will see.
Your visualization practice helps to reinforce in your mind the positive things you are looking for in your life. When you do this consistently you will become aware of all the opportunities that are available to you to help make the image a reality.
In fact there is a little part of your brain that does this for you called the reticular activating system that I will discuss in more depth next week. For now, place in your mind the positive reality you want to see through your visualizations and you will be amazed at the great opportunities that appear in your life.
Wishing you success in all aspects of life,
