Today's Meditators - A List That Will Surprise You

11/20/2015

I was recently speaking with a friend about the benefits of meditation and how it can support them as they are going through a rough patch in their life.  After hearing my explanation they chuckled a bit and responded kindly but dismissed the idea.  Reading between the lines I could hear them say, “Tom, I am not one of those hippy-dippy Californian types that has time to sit around all day and ponder the universe.”

In response to this I rattled off a long list of individuals that are not the typical “yogi-type” which everyone pictures being the meditators of the world.  This list included some of the most successful people on the planet.  Below are just a few of today’s meditators that might surprise you.
  • Jerry Seinfeld
  • Kobe Bryant
  • Howard Stern
  • George Stephanopoulos
  • Oprah Winfrey
  • Hugh Jackman
  • Rupert Murdoch
  • Arianna Huffington
  • Ray Dalio
  • Clint Eastwood

If these people find meditation a key to their success in life isn’t it worth a try?

Wishing you success in all aspects of life,
