Studies continue to show that practicing meditation and other mind body techniques provides a multitude of benefits including a reduction in stress, better health, enhanced focus, greater compassion and an increase in positive emotions such as love, joy, hope and gratitude. There are a variety of forms of meditation such as mindfulness, guided imagery, loving-kindness, etc. One form of meditation may work perfect for one individual but cause nothing but frustration for another. In addition, one form of meditation may be just what you need at one point in your life but not be the right fit at another time when you are facing different challenges. To help you learn to meditate and begin to reap all the benefits it has to offer, as well as discover the type of meditation that is the best fit for your personality and current situation, please join me for a class starting in June entitled: Meditations for Life: Six Weeks of Meditations and Resiliency Strategies for a Well-Balanced Life. In this program you will learn and practice six different types of meditation as well as a number of resiliency strategies for a happier and healthier life. Each week we will cover a different aspect of your life (health, relationships, finances, career) and provide a meditation and a resiliency strategy or two to help you better cope with any challenges and achieve greater happiness, success and fulfillment in that area of your life. The agenda for the course is shown below. You are welcome to attend any individual session or join us for the entire series to support you in your quest for success and fulfillment in all aspects of life. Classes will be held in Naperville, IL at The Emperor’s Medicine, 932 N. Wright Street, Suite 120, Naperville, IL 60563.
